Five winning designs will be chosen from each age group (11–14 and 15–19), with designs judged by youth from the same age group. Judging criteria includes:
- Creativity: Originality and imagination
- Message: Positively fits the theme “What matters to you?”
- Visual impact: Clarity of concept and visual appeal
- Relevance: Connects to youth experiences
Winners are chosen by a panel of youth based on skill using the judging criteria. No luck or chance is involved.
Free to enter: You don’t have to buy anything to enter the contest.
Winner notification and response requirements: Each winner will be notified by email between March 10-20, 2026. If we do not receive a reply to the email, the winner will also be contacted by phone. If we are unable to connect with the winner within three (3) calendar days after the date of transmission of the notification, another winner will be selected based on the judging criteria results. If a winner does not respond during this period, a notification email will be sent confirming that they are no longer eligible to claim the prize, and Planet Youth Nipissing reserves the right to select another winner. Participants are responsible for checking their email (including junk folders) and phone during this period and responding within the required timeframe.
By early April, every participant will receive an email informing them of the contest results, whether or not they were selected as a winner. Planet Youth Nipissing will announce the winning designs at the sticker unveiling event in April and online.
Picking up prizes: Each winner may choose one of the following options to receive their prize:
- Pick it up in person at the sticker unveiling event in April;
- Pick it up from the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit during the first week of April; or
- Provide their legal name and mailing address to have the prize shipped to them in April.
Your info stays safe: We’ll only use your personal information to run the contest. It will be stored securely by the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit for six (6) years and won’t be shared or used for anything else.
About your artwork: By entering, you give Planet Youth Nipissing permission to use your design on stickers and other materials should you win. These materials may also be shared by partner organizations in the Nipissing District. No one will make money from your design, it’s just to spread positive messages! Before printing, all winning designs will have “Planet Youth Nipissing/ Planète Jeunesse Nipissing” added to the sticker.
All entries become the property of Planet Youth Nipissing. Only the winning designs will be used by Planet Youth Nipissing for promotional activities for up to six (6) years (unless additional consent is provided). Winning designs will be shared online, on social media, on stickers, and on other Planet Youth Nipissing materials distributed by community partners.
Winners: Winning designs will be shown publicly by age group (11–14 and 15–19). You can choose to share your first name or stay anonymous. Your choice won’t affect your chances of winning. Winners may be asked for their legal name and mailing address to receive their prize, unless pick-up is arranged in-person.
Withdrawal: You have the right to withdraw from the contest at any time during the contest period. Once you withdraw consent, you will no longer qualify to participate in the contest or receive prizes. If you have any questions about the collection, use, or disclosure of your design or personal information, or want to withdraw your consent, please contact planetyouth@healthunit.ca
